Well, as all of you know, I went to Sea World last week. It was really fun. Okay so let me tell you what I did.
Friday: Our mom met our friends in a parking lot and then our friends drove all the way to a close town and then we spent the night at a hotel.
Saturday: We woke up fairly early and then left for sea world. First we went on this really fun ride called atlantis. You go up this big hill, and then in you get turned around and go down this small bend backwards. And then you go down this huge hill and get wet! Actually you get wetter by standing right close to the ride as it goes down the hill because the water splashes everywhere except in the boat! Even the 5-year old who was with us really liked the ride. Also that day, we went to a Shamu show. There was no room to sit down, but a girl that I was standing next to got to go onstage. One weird thing at the show though was that everyone shouting "Shamu, Shamu, Shamu". It was strange and funny because they were waving their arms up and down (it was supposed to signify Shamu's tale splashing, but it didn't seem like it) and it looked like they were praising him or something. I bought a few souvenirs and we later left. Sea World has this really neat water park where you can go down water slides on tubes, swim in their pools, play in the wave pool, or go river rafting in their "river".
Sunday: My brother and I got to go on this roller coaster called the "Steal Eel". It was really fun because you would be going 65 MPH and going down all this huge hills and windy tracks. The only bad part was when you stop because the brakes would screech really loudly and you would go forward in your seat. This was also this other cool ride called "The Great White" or something like that. You would be strapped in with this shoulder thing over you in this seat (you wouldn't be sitting in a roller coaster car, however) and then the ride would start and you would be going all over these loop-de-loops really fast and stuff, so it was fun. The ride got stopped for a second as we were going up the track and so everyone was leaning down (it would be funny if we got stuck going upside down on a loop-de-loop). We went on a lot more rides like log rides and stuff, but these are my favorite rides. If you are ever looking for a great place to go on vacation, check out Sea World in San Antonio
