Rocky's Trip

Rocky got groomed yesterday. The groomer said that he did great and that he didn't move at all except when she noticed that his anal glands were red. She only got to clean the outside. Rocky has a very happy disposition and would never bite somebody unless he was in excruciating pain. It hurt so much when she cleaned it that he tried to bite her. She said we would have to take him to the vet for them to clean them inside too. When we took him to the vet, he got really scared of other dogs. It's very strange because he never used to be afraid of other dogs until he was attacked for his 3rd time by these dogs that came into our yard. When they called Rocky inside the room, they put him on this little table and had to put a muzzle on him. I will spare the details, but it hurt so much that he was screaming in pain and jumping up and down. They also went ahead and did some heartworm tests and stuff to make sure its all OK, so they had to give him 3 shots. When he was at the groomer's, they pulled hair out of his ears to prevent infection and and they shaved him so that he wouldn't be hot. The poor dog had quite a day :(
