Summer is a great time of year...There's no more school, you get to see friends and sleep over, swimming, biking, playing outside, no homework, vacation, beach, camp. There are so many things to do. Surprisingly, it isn't my favorite time of year. I love fall the best because the leaves change color and the weather is cool. So far this spring (it isn't summer until June 21st) I've gone to about 4 pool parties, swam A LOT, gone to friends' houses and slept over, played outside, gone to the lake in our neighborhood and swam with friends for a memorial day party, gone to end of the year school parties, and done way more stuff than I can think of. I got out of school May 5th just so you'll know. When I tell kids that they get really jealous because most schools just got out this last week.

Spring.......
I did a lot this weekend. On Saturday I woke up. My dad was writing a letter with our realtor to the owner of a house to tell them that we want to buy it. The house is okay.....It is really nice, but I don't like the bedrooms. It is 3 stories and has a ton of space where we can build more rooms. Maybe we could build some more bedrooms so that my brothers and I don't have to give up our own rooms for guests. But it's okay if we don't. Anyways I went to a friends house, and then we went to a pool party for our Trek group that we planned. It was really fun! We swam for 5.5 hours that day. There was a lap pool, a drop slide that went into 10 ft. deep water, a platform that you could dive off of that was about 10 feet high, a playscape with this huge bucket on top that would dump water every 2.5 minutes (we timed it), and other stuff. We went to her house and took a hot bath in her parent's bathroom with our swimsuits on. Then we played some games and went to bed. The next day (Sunday) their family missed church because her brother was a chosen model for this magazine. I think it is called Ranger Rick's Wildlife Magazine or something like that. All they did was take pictures of us tubing down the Guadalupe River. The photographer used my friend and I as models too because he kind of needed more models. It was fun...We did get scratched up a lot from all the rocks and everything sticking up from the water, but it was still fun. We went to a restaurant with the photographer (they are really good friends with him and his wife) and my friend's sister's friend and her brother and dad. I spent the night at their house for a second night. We come home really late and we were really tired, so we just went to bed. They have a green belt behind their house, so my friend and I hiked out their for about an hour. There is this really pretty creek and an old Pilgrim House from the 1850's. I got home today and am really tired, but then a different friend came over because my brother invited her and her brother to come over. We went and looked at the house we bought and then went home and played video games. And here I am! (P.S. This is not a journal entry either. I am just telling you all what I did during my weekend.)
